New Retro
“Its design makes my eyes shine, and I even have the urge to reduce the fever.”
Inspiration
The designer’s inspiration comes from deconstruction, an art style that breaks traditional rules and recombines different elements. In terms of naming, New Retro reflects the contrast and fusion of “new” and “retro”.
New - Modern Material
Retro - Styling appearance
The presentation of deconstruction on the keyboard is full of the beauty of the new order after the reorganization of various fragments. It not only has retro elements such as layering and splicing, but also modern elements such as transparency and gradient, forming a unique visual impact.
Appearance Design
The sophisticated design wraps an opaque aluminum case in a translucent PC case, and adorns it with an assortment of metal accessories for an industrial look. The retro shape is not only reflected in the structure (stacking, splicing), but also its metal parts (hand rest, tripod bracket, connecting rod, nameplate, decorative block). These parts can remind people of some retro equipment, such as radios, telephones, typewriters and so on.
Colors
The iconic orange and white color scheme is matched with black embellishments. Created the perfect mash-up, echoing the theme of New Retro. The root of the Japanese character is also selected to echo the semi-transparent PC Katakana at the bottom
Fit with Your Table
The small size of 66 keys can adapt to the size of a regular desktop, which saves space and facilitates operation. The balanced design sense is also very harmonious in visual effects. The design of the upper knob on the right is very smart, as the functions can be customized through VIA. You can choose to set it as volume adjustment, or turn pages to browse, which is very convenient. The keyboard has a high degree of freedom regard of customization, not only on the keycaps, but also on the color selection of different metal accessories
Assembling a unique keyboard, isn’t it the reason for customization?
